Gary and I send you our deepest condolences on the passing of Nonkel Jos. He was always such a kind, genuine and enthusiastic man and I loved him. He taught us all how a life should be lived. Although we will all miss him, I am quite certain that he is already busy tidying up the gardens in Heaven. Rest In Peace, Liefste Nonkel.

Dear Patricia & Eddy and Families,
Uncle Jos was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who knew him. We will however retain the great memories. I reminisce of the wonderful times when your family first visited Canada & our farm for summer vacations a long time ago when we were much younger! I also fondly remember the time myself and Donna visited Belgium and stayed with Uncle Jos and Tante Odette. They were so unselfish with their time as they toured us through Belgium visiting all of our Belgium relatives (both sides). He was an inspiring person and we will miss him dearly!

We are so sorry that your father has passed. He was such a nice man. I remember that at 92 years old he offered to show us around Antwerpen. I think we would of had a hard time keeping up to him. He will be missed.

We are so sorry to hear that Nonkel Jos has passed. He was such an inspiration that at his age he could still do so much! I’m sure that my Mom and your Mom welcomed him back with them ❤

Dear Patricia, Eddy and family,

Nonkel Jos was a wonderful man. He was kind and friendly. When he was last in Canada a few years ago he played soccer with our children and hit the ball with his head, which was amazing to the kids. He was loved by them too after only meeting him once. We are sad that we will miss visiting Jos by only a few weeks. We will all miss him, including my children, but have many fond memories over the last 50 years.

Lots of love to you all, and soon we will have a cold beer together as family in his honor.
